“The Bookstore Mural is an outdoor mural by Richard Wolk located on the corner of Liberty Street and State Street in downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan. The mural is an Ann Arbor icon and one of the city’s most famous pieces of public art. The work, colloquially referred to as the Bookstore Mural, was painted in 1984 when David’s Books occupied the space. The mural depicts the headshots of Woody Allen, Edgar Allan Poe, Hermann Hesse, Franz Kafka, and Anaïs Nin. It is about 20 feet high by about 60 feet long.”
There’s something magical about bookstores, the smell and the overwhelming feeling that you are surrounded by words of so many brilliant people. You could just sit on the floor looking through all them for hours, getting lost in their words and traveling into different worlds. All away from society and the world around.

Wishing I had someone to see the world through my eyes and understand, without explanations. Hoping one would see that I am enough for them, more than enough. Dying of loneliness I am. Craving another heartbeat next to me.
